No what I meant was what are YOUR thoughts about death. the whole of the book is dedicated to the illness and death of Mrs C (Nita's mum), in the end she knew that she was going to die but she died NOT affaid of death itself. After reading that book my thoughts on death strengthaned and now I do think that I'm not affraid either! But what are your thoughts on death? are you scared? Why?

The Sandman is a DC comics character who appeared most recently in comics written by Neil Gaiman. So by "Sandman char", talkingbeast means a character (Death) from the Sandman comic. I expect Kathy can tell you more if you're curious enough .

Yes, he did. I'd taken the four YW books I knew about into hospital for my "week of tests" which turned into three weeks. He wondered what had happened, phoned my sister to find out where I was, and came to see me. He told me there was a fifth book, and brought me a copy the second time he visited.

(Oh - I had an unexplained liver problem. They ruled out all the possible causes and gave up.)

I ordered Alone and Holiday from Amazon last October, since they're only available in the UK from specialist shops, as far as I can tell.

Are your soo kind Nitafan , and PM I want to thank you. You are a big person on this site (Well I think so..) and you posted!! Well the Dilemma gor me this week is... I want to party (never did it before and now I want to try for the 2nd time!) But can't cause I have work! BUT I don't want people to feel that I'm beeing unsocuialbe. Soooooooo I'm staying in tonight to catch up and might go out later! Hopefully this will solve it but I now feel I'm missing out and my 'new' friends will ditch me later on cause I did not come out tonight , the work has to be done. Its a catch 22. oh well back to work!

Fox, im sorry but I am going to tell you something. Itis you desicion if you want to listen to it or not. Here goes: If they really are your friends they would not ditch you because you dont party. At all. Real friends would understand why you cant go out. If they are not real friends, then yes they will ditch you. But, you shouldent feel bad. At least you will now know who your real friends are.

Okay, I am done. Oh, I want to go out so bad!! Go out and do something! I really want to go to a club and dance! My mom said by the time we go back to Costa Rica (where she is from) I will be old enough to go out to the clubs and dance! I CANT WAIT!!! I just cant drink. The realy weird thing about down there though is that you can buy a cigarett at any age. Weird. Well, I have alot of other places to post so I am off..

The problem is that we have all only known each other 4 days now! I call them friends but they have a long way to go! the only other friends I have are mature students like me but there 30-40 and do not want to go out! I'm trying hard though! I know that it takes two days for my hearing to return!! So if i go out on a friday i will have my hearing back by monday for classes! hahah this going out clubbing is hard!!
