  • ppc: you mentioned to me you were Amber, so that's what I'll call you from now on.
Tui: forgiven, but, uh, not America--more like Scotland. At the moment. We actually are mostly Scotland, but a summer home in England and best friend in Ireland. Also, i go to Wales a lot just to even it out thru the kingdom. I did go to America for a really long time though, so I am just recovering my Scot accent. I sound more English though, than Scottie, why I don't know.

    • bc: oh, ok. that works.
m: lol--we go off topic because we are innately random. anyone who stays in a place like this loses what shreds of sanity they had (good thing!) and thus...we go off-topic. excepting, of course, this topic.

The important thing about adventures, thought Mr Bunnsy, was that they shouldn't be so long as to make you miss mealtimes.

        • FireWitch: That is GREAT!
Ally: Inkheart is an extremely good book about a girl named Meggie, her Dad (Mo) gets them into all this trouble by having the power to read characters out of their books. They have to find a way to kepp themselves from being killed/locked up forever by some EVIL characters from a book called Inkheart. The book is about their jammed full adventures to survive and save the world from these villans. It is REAL good.

            • BC: I'm SO Sorry. *begs forgiveness, humbly* I didn't know that.

Uhm, this stupid iCafe computer won't let me move between pages, so if I forget something it's not my fault. Er, what was I saying?

Oh, I remember. I was going to do a long dissertation on why6 we get off topic. But actually I think I'll just say that basically no-one knows why, and probably it's just in our nature. I think it's wonderful: we talk about So much different stuff. I learn a lot of miscellanea here.

Firewitch, congratulations! I'm happy.... no dress suggestions, except steer clear of strapless, but I bet you knew that already. (I ended up putting straps on mine. Just because.)

Er, I think that's all I was going to say. Except the Topic of Great Randomness was created on my sister's birthday. Freaky.

              • Definitely go with straps, FireWitch. Birdhead said "just because" but it's more like, "Just in case. Just for a little privacy." It depends though, on your skin and hair type, and if you're the blonde with blue eyes thing, eyes too. But basically, Redheads--NO chartreuse. Read that in Meg Cabot and totally agree! Asian--no yellow. Deep scarlets are very nice. Brunette-- can go with anything depending on skin, but probably not really pale pink. And DON'T get black. A girl I know did....*scream*

                      • bc: Actually, if Asians are tan enough, some yellows are ok (my sister tans soo beautifully, I'm always envious)...and if you wear the right makeup (playing around with hair color helps too) shimmery honey-gold works really well. Ooh yes, and scarlets go with everything I can think of at the moment.
                        Anyways...why not black? *is curious*

Gah, dress advice, mine has all run out.
