      • It hurt? Really? Or is it just your jaw feeling fuzzy and weird? My orthodontist and my dentist want me to get fake teeth!!! I don't WANT fake teeth! It's because I don't have any latteral teeth. My pointy teeth come right after my two front teeth, but I LIKE that, it's original. And fake teeth are.... *shudder* I just DON'T want fake teeth.

        • Yikes! Jello and ice cream for you, m'dear. Were they wisdom teeth? Those need to be removed 90% of the time because modern jaws aren't big enough to hold them, they come in wrong, or some other thing. I'm a Neanderthal, I kept all mine, and they work fine.

It might be necessary, but pulling healthy teeth is somehow wrong. And orthodontists are evil torturers.

              • Zgirl: Ooooo, that's a tough one. Well, I'd have to say that, since DD is the one that introduced me to the Wonderful World of Fantasy, she's my favorite. Then comes LOTR, because Tolkein is the absolute Genius of Fantasy, then Harry Potter. Harry Potter is last because I still think Rowling has to be initiated. And, when Harry Potter is done, not disappear, like many authors do after famous series's.

Yes! I hate dentists! I just had a check up and the nurse was like the Evil Nurse from Hell. She'd scrape and scrape till finally I was like, "Lady, get another job! You suck at this!" Of course, I didn't really say that, but I wanted to. Anyway, I always have this nurse, too. I never get anyone different. And, all the while she tortures you, she talks to you and asks you questions. How do they expect you to respond? "Hmumphy ha filifibbergibber." Hey, I like that. Filifibbergibber. I'm going to say that from now on whenever I feel like swearing.

heehee...I got my braces off last year, and do not have to suffer nasty wire poky things in my mouth...and my orthodontist said my teeth were as perfect as they were going to get. (I wanted to say, 'they better be after three years of the cursed (note accent over second 'e') implements of doom.' But I didn't. Because I'm polite. )

I HATE THE TOOTHPASTE DENTISTS GIVE YOU!!! I used to hate the Floride too, but for some reason it's okay now, but I HATE the toothpaste, even more then the scraping, the toothpaste is all grainy, and it gets even grainier as the "brush" your teeth, *shudders* I HATE going to the dentist. Even the Dr. is better than the dentist, much less painful. But the Carteologist... *shudders* I'm not so sure....

Oh, I know what you mean about that terrible horrible toothpaste from the depths of Greenland's sewage system. (Note: I used 'Greenland' because it popped into my head. Anyone from Greenland, I'm sure your sewage system is wonderful. Pretend I said Iceland. If you happen to be from Iceland, remember that I really said Greenland.)

My orthadontist told me I needed braces TWO years ago and that I was going to get them a month from then, I STILL don't have them. He scared me for nothing! Plus every girl in my family has sensative teeth (in cluding me) and the dentist is as hard as he can be on my teeth, because he thinks that will help them be less sensative! Our old dentist was drilling on my Mom's teeth, and he just let the drill SLIP! *shivers*
