Wow! I think I've read that book before... their making a movie? How long have those books been out?
Does everyone here love sci-fi or fantasy. I'm not a big fan of either of them... except for Harry Potter and YW. I like realistic fiction better.
The only thing better than books is music and talking.

My friend did that--but it was childish. Then she went all punk and was like, "I have to have an Americrap bedroom!" She she put "Stars and Stripes" everywhere. She loves it, but it's junk, I think. No offense to you Americans, but I don't care for your leaders or your flag...it's ugly.

lol...yup, I think most of us love sci-fi/fantasy. (Including myself, of course.) YW is, after all, in that genre.
bc: I'm actually quite happy with the color combo. Red/white/blue...no offense to anyone whose country has an orange flag or something, but I really prefer red. Or white. Or blue.

I love sci-fi and fantasy. I spend most of my time reading that and a portion reading historical and realistic. I really like all genres except some non-fiction and a lot of the books we read at school. Somehow, no matter how good a book is, reading it at school makes it not as good.

bc: I like the red, white and blue, I think the flag is actually kinda pretty. About our leaders though...I'd probably agree with you.

Gah. I really, really want to redo my room (I've had it longer than I've had any artistic sense at all ) but...I worked really hard one summer and stenciled in an entire garden and don't want to paint over that.
Which is, all things considered, fairly lame. It boils down to me not liking the decor but having spent too much time over it to want to kill it.
Back on topic, or as on topic as we can get...
I agree that the American flag could use some redesigning. But I still like the colors. And all the pretty stars.

I think the flag's gonna stay the way it is for a very long while. But, really, what else would it look like? And, I kinda like the simplicity of it. It's easy to recognize, and I like the idea of one star for every state.
