can anyone see my avie? My comp won't le me see it. If anyone can see it... what does it look like? I think I should change it... But then again, I don't even know what my avie looks like... Gee, aren't I smart?

Well, I can't see it. Sometimes, if an avatar is on a website that needs a password, you can't see it. Mine isn't like that, so I don't know how people fix it.

It'd be easier if I knew what you've got in that field. For instance, mine is http://www.table76.demon.co.uk/images/LegoPeter2.jpg which points to the webspace I get with my Internet account. Wildflower's is on the same site as http://avatar2k.nm.ru/64x64/anime/avatar/302.gif.

If yours begins with file:// then nobody can see the avatar unless they're on your computer.

Well, there shouldn't be a space before home.aspx, for a start. Also, that's not a picture, it's a webpage, so it can't be used as an avatar. If you take a picture from that page (assuming you're allowed to), and rescale it so it's no bigger than 68x100 or 100x68 pixels, and put the result on a website...

then you can point the custom avatar field at that picture.

I'm assuming you've read the avatar rules for this site, and the Board FAQ.

Not true. Windows really are faster than Macs. That's something I read forever ago from the newspaper.

Depends on the Mac, depends on the Windows box, but I'd say that on the whole, Macs are a leetle slower. But they also have more features built-in and better integration of software and are generally hecka prettier to stare at all day. :-)

BTW, did everybody see the new $99 iPod shuffles that just got announced? Not to mention the Mac Mini?
